An Amber Alert has been issued on Wednesday, July 19, for two children by Surrey RCMP.

Mounties received a report that the children’s mother had not returned them to their father after a vacation in the Kelowna area.

The force issued an Amber Alert as part of its effort to locate the kids.

The alert was issued just after 3 pm and shared information about the missing children and their potential whereabouts.

“The children have been in the company of their mother since June 28, 2023, when they departed Surrey, BC.  They were supposed to be returned to their father, who has primary custody, on July 17, 2023 but they were not and no one has been able to make contact with them,” RCMP explained in a statement.

Police are looking for a 45-year-old and a vehicle associated with the suspect, a Blue 2012 Dodge D250 with a BC License Plate SJ2708.
