Alphonso Davies ties the knot with longtime fiancée in France

Canadian soccer star Alphonso Davies is a married man.
Just weeks after Canada’s run at the 2026 FIFA World Cup came to an end, the Bayern Munich player tied the knot with his longtime partner, Sheyenne Jen, during a lavish ceremony at a French castle just north of Paris.
The wedding took place on July 23 at a picturesque luxury wedding venue, Château de Saint-Martin-du-Tertre, and featured a celebrity-packed guest list.
Nigerian music superstar Mr. P., who boasts nearly 12 million Instagram followers, performed at the reception, while Davies’ groomsmen appeared to include Bayern Munich teammate and German star Jamal Musiala.

In some of the videos posted to social media, Davies can be seen singing with Mr. P and dancing with his wife and groomsmen.
Davies and his wife reportedly met in 2022 and got engaged on New Year’s Eve in December 2024 while vacationing in Dubai.
Jen, who performs under the stage name SheyJ, is a German singer and, according to her social media profile, is also finishing up a degree in interior architecture.

The wedding caps off a busy summer for Davies.
He’s spent the past three months rehabbing a hamstring injury that had kept him from playing in Canada’s five 2026 FIFA World Cup matches. Davies only played 16 minutes in the knockout stage match against South Africa, which Canada won 1-0, before being eliminated by Morocco in the Round of 16.
The 25-year-old Canadian star will probably head on a quick honeymoon before shifting his focus back to Bayern Munich for its season opener against rivals Borussia Dortmund in the German SuperCup Final on Aug. 22.
