What is Vancouver like through the eyes of tourists?
A new video by American tourist Todd Hayward, who recently visited Vancouver for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, highlights the very best of the region.
Scenes captured with a GoPro camera include downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Lynn Canyon, Queen Elizabeth Park, Granville Island and B.C. Place Stadium, where he watched the FIFA Women’s World Cup’s U.S.A. vs. Nigeria match.
“This was our third time back, but the first time with kids,” Hayward told Vancity Buzz. “We told them Vancouver would be awesome, as they were not looking forward to an almost 6 hour flight. But we kind of kept under wraps all of the cool things we’d be doing so we could see their reactions as they experienced everything for themselves for the first time.
