Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival is dog-friendly and is highlighted by three focal points beginning with the lavender fields. The purple paradise will include Provence and English lavender and is sure to be a delight for many of the senses.
You’ll next explore 20 acres of sunflowers featuring over one million blooms. There are 30 varieties of sunflowers to check out along with a u-pick field and numerous photo opportunities.
Your final floral stop is a 10-acre meadow packed with phacelia pastels, a buckwheat sea of white, and an eye-catching array of feature flowers, including snapdragons and black-eyed Susans to coneflowers and Woodland Sage.
The inaugural festival is also hosting two special event nights this summer, including a comedy show starring comedian Cliff Prang on July 28, and Tourism Abbotsford’s Sun and Soil Series Concert on August 19.
