The Lower Mainland’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is looking for clues in the shooting death of a man in Abbotsford Friday evening.
Abbotsford Police tweeted Friday that they responded to reports of shots fired in the 2700 block of Lucern Crescent just before 8 pm. Officers discovered the body of a man in his 40s at the scene, and called in the homicide squad.
Initially, they asked anyone who was not an emergency responder to avoid the area.
Officers canvassed the area Friday night to try and find witnesses to the violence.
