They’ve expanded this year and have special outdoor hunt areas for different age groups. Two to four year olds will hunt on the lower lawn in the grass and amongst the beech trees and five to eight year olds will hunt in the upper lawn area near the Mountain Ash trees. Kids nine to 12 years will have a larger and more challenging hunt area in the famous hedge maze and around the Fern Dell area. Once children have found enough plastic eggs they can exchange them for a special treat at the chocolate station.

After the hunt, kids can interact with animals at the Cinemazoo exhibit, decorate a clay pot, plant carrots to take home and meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny! Make sure to go for a walk and explore the garden with your family post event. Tickets are only $15 and include garden admission for one to two parents or guardians plus the hunt participant. If your kids build up an appetite after the event, you can enjoy lunch and refreshments at the on-site Truffles Café or Shaughnessy Restaurant.
