68 homes proposed for Cambie Street in South Vancouver
A rezoning application has been submitted to the City of Vancouver to redevelop the site at 7730-7770 Cambie Street in South Vancouver. The mid-block site is currently occupied by three single-family homes.
The proposal by Ankenman Marchand Architects calls for a pair of six-storey residential buildings, reaching up to 67 ft in height, containing 68 strata units.
The unit mix is six studio units, 21 one-bedroom units, 27 two-bedroom units, 13 three-bedroom units, and one four-bedroom unit. This includes 13 townhouse units, with several of these units accessed from the laneway.

Both buildings contain separate indoor and outdoor amenity spaces on a portion of the rooftop, where there are also private rooftop patio spaces for some of the upper floor homes.
The total floor area is 71,285 sq. ft., providing the project with a floor space ratio density of 2.7 times the size of the 25,511-sq-ft lot.
Two underground levels will contain 94 vehicle parking stalls and 163 bike parking spaces. The project falls under the city’s Cambie Corridor Plan.
