Our resident blogger Money J Skeets has been waiting all year for this parade. Every year he and his spaceman companion attempt to be grand marshals at the Vancouver Pride Parade and every year they are turned down. Here is a photo of Money J and his spaceman friend in one of their happier moments riding on what one can only describe as some sort of spaceship.
This years parade promises to be even bigger than last year. An estimated 600,000 people are expected to attended.
The Parade starts in downtown Vancouver, at Robson & Thurlow. Then makes its way to the West End. It finishes at Sunset Beach, where the party doesn’t stop as there will be live music on the Vancity Festival Stage, beer gardens and much, much more. Vancity Buzz’s very Money J Skeets will be holding an autograph session somewhere in there as well.
