The latest instalment of The Lyst Index was released today, revealing fashion’s hottest brands and products for the first quarter of 2019. To compile the results, the Index analyzes the online behaviour of more than five million shoppers every month, as well as social media metrics.

This quarter, Nike’s sporting hijab emerged as the seventh hottest fashion product in the world, with demand increasing by 125% after retailer Decathlon abandoned its plans to sell a sporting hijab in France.
Instagram-friendly accessories also saw an increase in sales such as Prada’s stud-embellished headband (the second hottest women’s product in the world), and the pocket-sized Jacquemus Chiquito bag. If you thought that tie-dye trends were out, think again — it’s one of the fastest-growing fashion keywords of the year so far.
