18 movies and TV shows filming in Vancouver in July
When Hollywood comes to your hometown, there’s nothing better than hitting the streets in search of your favourite TV show or new movie filming. The possibility of spotting that character you love – or the one you love to hate –cameras rolling, bright lights and directors yelling “action!”
Here are 18 movies and TV shows filming in Vancouver this July.

To All the Boys 3
If you loved the first movie and can’t wait for Netflix to drop the second movie, then your not surprised that Netflix has decided to film To All The Boys 3. After the first movie received tons of positive reviews and had fans binge-watching on repeat, the teen rom-com will continue in To All the Boys 3 which will start filming in Vancouver this July through to August.
The Main Event
The Main Event will partner Netflix and WWE in a new movie filming in Vancouver till August. The movie is said to be about a young boy who is bullied and aspires to be a professional WWE wrestler. The script apparently mentions John Cena, and there’s a good chance he may make an appearance in the movie.
Batwoman – Season 1
Batwoman will be on location in the city this summer. Starring Ruby Rose as main character Kate Kane, the new series will really expand the DC Comics universe with its first ever lesbian superhero.
Riverdale – Season 4
The gang is back in town! Riverdale will set up location in Metro Vancouver again this July for another season of the binge-worthy Netflix show. Based around the Archie comics, Riverdale will be filming in town all the way until April 2020.
Nancy Drew – Season 1
While there haven’t been a lot of details released just yet, Nancy Drew is a new series that will begin filming in Vancouver this July. Based upon the original Nancy Drew books, the CW series will be based around 18-year-old Nancy Drew who gets involved in a murder mystery when her and group of friends witness a murder.
The Magicians – Season 5

The Magicians will be on location for its fifth season in Vancouver this month. Based upon the novel by Lev Grossman, the show revolves around Quentin Coldwater who enrolls at Brakebills University to study as a magician.
Beverly Hills 90210
Yup – you heard it right, Beverly Hills 90210 is getting a reboot! The new mini-series will bring together its former cast members Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green, Shannen Doherty, Gabrielle Carteris, and Tori Spelling. The reboot of the former 1990’s hit show will be on location shooting six episodes in North Vancouver till July.
You Me Her – Season 5

Back for its fifth season, You Me Her will be on location in Vancouver until mid-July. The series focuses on a suburban couple from Portland, Oregon that enters into a romantic three-way relationship starring Greg Poehler, Canadian actress Rachel Blanchard and Priscilla Faia.
The Good Doctor – Season 3
The Good Doctor will be back on location in Vancouver this July for another season of the hit show. Starring Freddie Highmore as main character Shaun Murphy, the show revolves around an autistic surgeon who thinks outside the box and is recruited to work at a prestigious hospital.
A Million Little Things – Season 2
A Million Little Things is back in Vancouver this month filming for its second season. Starring Ron Livingston, this new show follows a group of tight-knit friends who come to realize what truly matters in life after one of them suddenly passes away.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina – Season 3 /4
An adaptation of the comic book series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is on location in Vancouver this month filming for its third and fourth season. The Netflix series stars Kiernan Shipka as main character Sabrina Spellman, along with costars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto, and Richard Coyle.
Charmed – Season 2

The CW’s Charmed will be back on location in Vancouver this July filming for its second season. Starring Sarah Jeffery, Melonie Diaz and Madeleine Mantock, the series is about three sisters who discover after their mother passes away that they are actually very powerful witches.
Motherland – Season 1
Motherland will be in production in Vancouver this month through to August. This new 10-episode drama witch series stars Taylor Hickson, Jessica Sutton, Kelcey Mawema as series regulars and none other than Will Ferrell as executive producer alongside Adam McKay and Kevin Messick.
The Flash – Season 6

Barry is back in town! The Flash will start filming this July for season six of the hit show, and will continue all the way to April 2020. The show is based on the DC comics and stars Grant Gustin as crime scene investigator Barry Allen, a man who has the superpower of speed and uses it to rescue innocents while fighting crime.
Supergirl – Season 5

Back for its fifth season, Supergirl will be on location in Vancouver this month through to April 2020. Melissa Benoist stars as Kara, better known as Supergirl in this series, who must balance being a reporter and fighting crime — all while hiding her identity from the human world.
Sacred Lies – Season 2
Known as the first Facebook TV series, Sacred Lies will start production of its second season in Vancouver this July. The horror series is centered around a young girl who is missing her hands and manages to escape from a cult, only to end up in juvenile detention. Lead casting for the show includes Elena Kampouris, Kevin Carroll, Kiana Madeira, and Ryan Robbins.
Legends of Tomorrow – Season 5

Project Blue Book – Season 2

Starring Aidan Gillen, this science-fiction drama series is based around the US Air Force investigation into UFO-related phenomena from the 50’s and 60’s known by its code name of “Project Blue Book”.
