Despite the sweltering, record breaking heat, Metro Vancouverites came out in full force on West 4th Avenue today for the fourth annual Khatsahlano Block Party.

Throughout the 10 hour festival, at least 100,000 attendees flooded a 10 city block stretch of the street, stretching from MacDonald to Burrard Streets.

There were hundreds of merchants and booths, 40 food trucks, 50 bands, buskers and even a two-block long downhill skateboarding demonstration course.

In just a few short years, Khatsahlano has quickly become one of Vancouver’s top events in the summer.
