A charitable society in Vancouver is making waves within the community thanks to its donations.

100 Men Who Care is described as a charitable society of high achievers, executive thinkers, and innovators. The organization is just one chapter of the 100 Who Care Alliance, a group that consists of people of all ages and genders that are looking to make a difference.

The goal of the group is to “be part of something bigger,” to give more and do more, and to make a massive impact on the community. 100 Men Who Care hosts quarterly events around Vancouver and encourage their members to be more aware of how they can give back to their community.

Every time the group meets, members spend an hour discussing different charities. Once an organization decides on one, each member makes a $100 donation. Once you add the 99 other members, however, and add up each quarterly event, up to $40,000 is donated each year to worthy causes in Vancouver.

While the focus of the quarterly events is philanthropy, they also include opportunities to network and socialize to form business relationships and friendships.

So far, 100 Men Who Care has donated to the Lower Mainland Down Syndrome Society and Working Gear to date.
