Young girl suffering serious injuries after stabbing in downtown Toronto: police

A “young girl” is suffering serious injuries after a stabbing near Jarvis Street and Richmond Street East.

According to Toronto police, the stabbing took place on Sunday evening near a gas station downtown.

Police say the suspect is a Black female, and was wearing a white jacket with dark pants.

The young girl’s injuries are not considered life-threatening, and police continue to search for a suspect.
