Thinking of hitting Scotland anytime soon?

This is your time.

Icelandic airline WOW Air has recently announced a new route connecting Edinburgh, Scotland to Toronto leaving twice weekly. And to celebrate, flights are currently on sale from $249.99, including taxes.

“We’re excited to give Canadians an even bigger taste of what the UK has to offer,” says Skúli Mogensen, founder and CEO of WOW air. “We feel excellent service and thrilling destinations should be affordable for everyone, and can’t wait to see what adventures Scotland has in store for our passengers.”

According to the airline, some of Edinburgh’s must-sees include the Edinburgh Castle, Highlands, Summerhall, and their festivals – such as the Fringe Festival taking place throughout August.

Flights will leave Toronto Pearson Airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays with a two-hour layover in Iceland. But our advice? Use that time and stay in Iceland a little longer.

As of this summer, Wow Air services 30 destinations across Europe, the US, and Canada. It was ranked as the 5th best low-cost, long-haul airline in the world at this year’s Skytrax World Airline Awards.
