Toronto is getting a Women's Fashion Week in 2017
Six weeks ago we told you that Toronto Fashion Week was cancelled.
Well, the response to what would fill the fallout was answered this weekend at a Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM) event.
In February 2017, we’ll be getting a Toronto Women’s Fashion Week.
At a show over the weekend, TOM announced that they would be the one to bring it to us:
Info is scarce, but an offical announcement at least suggests that TOM has tested the waters with sponsors and designers to make sure this will take off.
After all, the reason Toronto Fashion Week was cancelled was due to IMG Canada not being able to secure enough local support.
Let’s not screw this up twice in the same year, Toronto. It’s time to strut our stuff successfully this time.
