A winter chocolate festival is coming to Toronto on February 2

The best things in life are chocolate. No questions asked.
And this February, Toronto will be home to a Winter Chocolate Show, for the sole reason of celebrating and enjoying this universal joy-food.
The event is a one-day festival that’s going to celebrate Canada’s craft chocolate makers. Bean-to-bar creators will be offering samples of their sweet treats and selling their bars and bites.

And, if you’ve ever wanted to partake in a seminar or workshop that teaches you about tasting, working with, and the process of making chocolate… now’s your chance.
Bean-to-bar chocolate is made starting with raw fermented and dried cacao beans. They’re roasted, and remaining cacao nibs are crushed up and combined with sugar to produce rich, complex flavours of chocolate.

Toronto’s own SOMA and Chocosol Traders will be at the festival, alongside vendors from Kingston, Montreal, Winnipeg, and even further across Canada. Tickets are $7.50 in advance, or $10.00 at the door.
