This weekend has been nothing short of abysmal.
Toronto has seen every type of winter weather sweep through the city, including snow, freezing rain, and ice pellets. The OPP are reporting more than 700 collisions have taken place since the storm began yesterday.
And now we have high winds kicking things up a notch.

According to Environment Canada, severe winds near Toronto’s lakeshore could produce gusts up to 100 km/h and Billy Bishop airport has already reported wind gusts reaching 95 km/hr.
Combine this with both the freezing rain warning and the heavy rainfall warning already in effect for Toronto and you can understand why staying inside today is definitely your best best.
Stay safe, Toronto.
