Popular waterpark reopening with new private cabana rentals

Wet’n’Wild Toronto is opening this week. Water park fanatics are now able to reserve time slots and cabanas for the 2021 summer season.

After more than a year of being closed, mark the date on your calendar! Wet’nWild is opening on July 7.

With Ontario’s restrictions easing in Step 2 of the reopening plan, amusement parks in the province are able to welcome guests back while keeping COVID-19 health regulations in place.

Families can now purchase their tickets online and book a reservation timeslot. There are still a lot of spots left for the week and even the weekend.

If you’re looking for a VIP experience, Wet’n’Wild Toronto offers private cabanas for you and your party. Guests must reserve them ahead of time.

“We have a total of 12 cabanas here, four located in the Junior area, four in Bear Foot’n Bay, and four at the wave pool,” said a representative of the water park.

Each cabana is suited for up to six people. They include two chaise lounges, a patio table with chairs, a couch, personal wait staff, two Wet’n’Wild Souvenir Towels, and Sunscreen.

“As an added convenience, we have additional add-ons at reduced prices when you check-out.”

There are a few things to note before planning your water park trip, however. Guests must reserve a time slot before arrival to ensure they’re able to get inside. A ticket does not guarantee entry.

One member of each group must also fill out a contact tracing form prior to entry.

As for masking, they are only mandatory when entering the park, inside retail stores and washrooms, or when it is not possible to physically distance. Masks are not required in any of the water attractions, according to Wet’n’Wild.

“According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, even in fully vaccinated, it’s important to continue using all the tools available to help stop this pandemic as we learn more about vaccines and their effect on the spread of COVID-19.”

Make sure to book your spot before it fills up!
