Wayne Gretzky's lowers prices to $5 for everything before closing

Wayne Gretzky’s in Toronto has lowered its prices to celebrate its last day in business before it closes for good.

The sports bar and restaurant is closing on Thursday, October 8 at 7 pm. Until then, everything costs just $5.

The eatery made the announcement on Instagram, noting the $5 prices only apply to dine-in customers.

The city has known since 2019 that Wayne Gretzky’s and its upstairs Oasis Rooftop Lounge would be closing to make way for a condo development, and the final date was announced this month.

“We just hope everyone who wants to or are big fans of the restaurant get the chance to say their farewells before they close their doors,” said a spokesperson for the sports hub told Daily Hive last week.
