It’s the Great One versus the Great Eight in a head-to-head battle for charity using EA Sports’ NHL 20 as the battleground.

Taking place at 8 pm ET on Wednesday, April 22, and streaming on the Washington Capitals’ Twitch channel, two of the most phenomenal NHL players in history will be raising money to help provide meals and equipment for frontline healthcare workers.

“Can’t wait to play the Great One in NHL 20,” wrote Ovechkin on Twitter. “Huge honor and will be lots of fun and more important help people! Stay safe and stay home fans. Miss you guys!”
