Highly-anticipated vegan pizza joint gearing up to open first Toronto spot

It’s been a long wait, but it looks like much-loved Vancouver-based vegan pizza shop Virtuous Pie is finally almost ready to share its epic plant-based eats with Torontonians.

The vegan purveyor of drool-worthy pizza, ice cream, and treats (all made from plants) is gearing up to open its 611 College Street doors within the next week-or-so.

The brand is long known for converting both vegetarians and meat lovers to full-blown vegan pizza-loving foodies.

Their pies like the Stranger Wings made from spicy buffalo cauliflower, crisp fried shallots, blue cheese drizzle, and scallions is nothing short of legendary, so you can expect some terrific plant-based options from this new spot.

The full menu for the Toronto location has yet to be released, but Virtuous Pie has revealed there will be some exclusive dishes for the location including a broccolini side made with miso garlic sauce and sweet soy.

Be sure to keep an eye on this brand’s social channels for an exact opening date.
