These are the ultimate vegan treats to try in Toronto this holiday season

Perhaps you’re totally plant-powered, or maybe you just love to try new and different foods. Either way, there are a huge selection of vegan treats to tantalize your taste buds this holiday season.
From pies and cakes to “cheeses” and holiday nog, these flavours will have even the biggest carnivore asking for more.

In store, they’ve started offering holiday sweets like gingerbread donuts, peppermint brownies, gingerbread house kits and hot chocolate. Don’t miss out.

Bunner’s just dropped their holiday menu, and it’s huge. Cakes of Nanaimo and cranberry clementine. Tarts of salted chocolate and bourbon caramel. Cheesecake of creamy caramel and eggnog. Peppermint white chocolate popcorn. Cookies. Sponge toffee. Cupcakes. Muffins. Candy cane bark. Also, veggie pot-pie, stuffing, and a personal “hungry bun” dinner, TV style, for if you’re the only veg-head at the holiday affair. Boom.

While these three donut specials — the Milk and Cookies, Gingerbread with Eggnog Glaze and Buche de Noel — are veggie, not vegan, there is an additional Hanukkah offering that is fully plant-based! Visit this spot between December 2 and 10 to try their vegan Sufganiyot, filled with Kitten and the Bear raspberry jam.
