If you prefer your holidays filled with veggies, environmentally-conscious and animal-friendly, Toronto’s new Vegan Christmas Market is the event for you.

Previous years have seen vegan winter markets pop up across the city, but this bazaar will be the premiere all-vegan market event geared exclusively towards Christmas.

TheĀ event will feature a curated group of vendors offering a wide range of vegan products, that are all made without animal exploitation.

According to the event’s description, attendees can anticipate pastries, chocolate treats, cosmetics, artisanal soaps, clothing, and more, all made with vegan values at their core.

Meant to encourage guests to shop in a manner that embodies the essence of the holiday season, the event will focus on “a celebration of peace, love and compassion for all beings, humans as well as animals.”

Taking place from 11 am to 6 pm on December 8, the market will take over the Ontario Heritage Centre at 8 Adelaide Street East.

Admission is free, and you have the option of levelling up to various VIP options for a charge, which includes add-ons like beanies or tote bags, plus access to additional shopping hours.

Tickets are already available, so don’t hesitate! It’s never too early to start planning your holiday shopping.
