The TTC’s subway service on a portion of Line 1 will end nightly next week for track maintenance and ATC signal upgrades.
From August 31 to September 3, subway service from Sheppard-Yonge to Eglinton station will end at around 11 pm, according to the transit commission.
Shuttle buses will be running and stopping at each station on the affected route while TTC staff will be present to help direct transit riders.
The 97 Yonge bus will also be available for customers as an alternative.
According to the TTC, all stations will be open for fare sales, PRESTO reloads and connections to surface routes, also to Line 4.
At York Mills Station, the Old York Mills Road entrance and exit will be closed and as for Lawrence Station, the automatic entrances and exits at Ranleigh Avenue and Bedford Park Avenue will also be closed.
However, the other entrances and exits will be available to customers.
“Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance,” said the transit commission.
