TTC Special Constable uniform, body armour stolen: Police

Toronto Police are alerting the public after parts of a TTC Special Constable uniform, including a piece of body armour, were stolen.

The Toronto Police Service said the theft occurred around 5 pm on February 18 near Woodbine Avenue and Danforth Avenue.

Three TTC Special Constable uniform shirts and the front half of an external ballistic vest carrier were stolen, police said.

The shirts are baby blue and have TTC Special Constable patches on the shoulders. The vest is black and did not have any plates.
