Reminder: Planned TTC closures continue this weekend

Mar 3 2017, 2:54 am

As previously mentioned, the TTC has 35 scheduled closures in 2017 due to track work.

And this weekend includes one of the planned closures.

From March 4 until March 6 at 6 am, Line 4 between Sheppard-Yonge and Don Mills stations will be closed as crews conduct maintenance.

Shuttle buses will run from Sheppard-Yonge to Don Mills stations, stopping only at subway stations along the route. Customers wishing to stop between stations should use the 85 Sheppard East bus.

All stations will be open to sell fares.

One weekend of work during a closure is equivalent to about five weeks of nightly work, according to the TTC.

This weekend is not March’s only closure. Upcoming closures include:

March 18 to 19 – Line 2 Bloor-Danforth: Kennedy to Warden for track and switch work
April 1 to 2 – Line 1 Yonge-University: King to St Andrew stations for track work
April 8 to 9 – Line 1 Yonge-University: Downsview to St George stations for ATC signal work
