The TTC has cancelled Thursday night’s scheduled early subway closure, making life easier for Raptors-fan commuters on the night of The Raptors’ first game of the NBA Finals series.

TTC’s Line 1 was initially scheduled to go out of service between Eglinton and Bloor/Yonge stations at 11 pm Monday through Thursday night for “subway corridor maintenance.”

The closure is now cancelled for Thursday “so that everyone can get into and out of the city to cheer on the Raptors,” the TTC said in a tweet.

A reminder that the service closure will still go into effect at 11 pm between Eglinton and Bloor/Yonge stations tonight and tomorrow night.
