Ontario Provincial Police have identified the drivers involved in a frightening collision caught on camera on the 401.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt confirmed there have been no injuries following the accident.
“No injuries to either driver, the truck driver claims he was unaware of the car… charges have not been laid as the investigation is ongoing,” he wrote.
On Wednesday, Schmidt posted a video that delves into further details about the collision, where a truck driver pushed a car across two lanes of the highway before reaching the shoulder.
He noted the OPP’s gratitude for the witnesses that came forward with information.
“Anyone with dashcam, with interesting stories like this, is always asked to call the police and identify what they have, what they’ve witnessed, because that could be a crucial piece of evidence that we’re looking for.”

“Because there’s no shortage of crazy and interesting situations that unfold in front of us on a day-to-day basis.”
