Looks like fall weather is hoping to make an appearance this week. With a tropical storm active south of the border, risk of thunderstorms is looming over Toronto.

According to The Weather Network, a cold front is expected to make its way on Tuesday, bringing in a bit of rain and chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Although the chance is a bit mild, come Wednesday, a threat of severe thunderstorms is much more prominent as humidity from the southwest and a cold front from the northeast will come into the region, bringing the risk of storms.

Temperatures are expected to linger around 24°C, feeling more towards the high 20s with 27°C on Wednesday.

Thursday might see a temperature shift throughout the day, a change from the breezy weather as it is expected to remain around 28°C but feel more like 36°C due to the humidity.

Friday’s temperatures are expected to drop once again to 25°C, feeling like 31°C.

According to TWN, both days could see more storms.

“Moisture from Tropical Storm Laura could possibly impact southern Ontario Friday night into Saturday. Rain, gusty winds and thunderstorms are all on the table,” said The Weather Network.
