A massage and wine bar is opening soon in downtown Toronto

Sipping wine is relaxing. Getting a massage is relaxing. So why not combine the experiences for the ultimate zen indulgence?

You’ll have the opportunity to do exactly that when Touch Massage and Wine Bar arrives on King West.

According to the new spot’s website, the establishment will be opening its doors soon. And its Instagram account describes what you have to look forward to.

“Modern Lifestyle Massage Bar to Escape the Everyday,” reads the account’s bio. “RMT. Wellness Café & Wine Bar. King Street West.”

The description is followed by the mantra, “live well | drink well | feel well.”

Honestly, that sums up exactly what the King West crowd is needing after a long day at the office. A spot to wined down and get some pampering on, through a glass of vino and some tension release.

Saira Lakhani, who’s behind the new concept, shared the intentions behind the fusion-experience in an Instagram post.

Lakhani’s family reportedly operates several spas, and she herself has experienced the relaxation of various types of spas across the world. The issue she’s found in Toronto, though, is that one generally needs to choose between affordability or a proper pampering.

Touch Massage and Wine Bar aims to change that, offering the chance to enjoy a 30-minute massage without breaking the bank, and indulge in a glass of wine, or a latte, before or after.

Opening date details are yet to be announced, but Lakhani is aiming for January.

Which means it won’t be long before this new space is serving up all levels of relaxation, and you can bet you’ll catch us at the check-in desk.
