You need to try the Toronto Zoo’s new zip line before it's too late

There’s a new way to take in the sights at the Toronto Zoo.

As part of the Zoo’s ongoing expansion, visitors are able to rip across the scenic Rouge Valley along a 300m ecologically themed zip line — but only for a limited time, as the zip line is expected to close for the season on October 31, weather permitting.

Cruising at 40 plus km/h through the dense forest, the Wild Rouge Zipline concludes with a thrilling drop off at the landing platform.

Upon completion of the adventure, guests will be transported by an ATV back up to the Indo-Malayan Pavilion.

In addition to the zip line, guests will soon be able to take part in a new Canopy Tour where they’ll have up to three additional features to explore including a canopy walk through the trees, an aerial challenge course and a guided ecological educational tour.

Throughout the experience, ecological educational messaging will be present via signage and guided tours.

The Wild Rouge Zipline and Canopy Tour tickets cost $29.95 for adults and does not include admission into the Zoo.
