Pro wrestling is coming back to Toronto. Rogers Centre will host its first WWE event in 23 years, as Elimination Chamber will be held at the home of the Toronto Blue Jays on March 1.

The announcement comes on the heels of July’s Money In The Bank event in Toronto, where fans were surprised by John Cena’s retirement announcement. That event also set a new record as the highest-grossing WWE arena show in Canada.

The upcoming show, which features a large chain-linked circular steel structure enclosing the ring, will mark the first time Rogers Centre has hosted a WWE event since WrestleMania 18 in 2002. That night, over 55,000 fans watched Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson face off against Hulk Hogan in a legendary “Icon vs. Icon” match.

“Canada is an amazing place to host our biggest Premium Live Events, with its passionate fans and rich history that spans decades,” said WWE Chief Content Officer and former superstar Paul “Triple H” Levesque in a press release. “On the heels of a record-breaking Money In The Bank this past July, we are excited to return to Toronto for an even larger event in 2025.”

Priority Passes for Elimination Chamber 2025 will soon be available, offering ringside seats, pre-show perks, and WWE Superstar appearances. Fans can sign up for exclusive presale access on On Location’s website.
