Christmas cards adorned with Santa Claus and the nativity scene are so last year, as made apparent by a Toronto woman’s cheeky card inspired by a popular Beastie Boys’ song.

Angela Young, a mother from Toronto, decided to spice up her family’s holiday card this year and ditch their traditional greeting for something a little more badass.

For this year’s holiday card, Young decided to channel the Beastie Boys’ hit track Intergalactic and as you could imagine, the results were incredible.

“Finally getting into the holiday spirit this week and hope you are too! For this year’s card theme, we channelled the ultimate trio #thebeastieboys and one of my all-time favourite music videos, ‘Intergalactic’ for inspiration,” wrote Young in an Instagram post which features her and her two adorable children decked out in matching work outfits.

But if the holiday photo wasn’t enough to make you feel merry and bright, Young also re-created the former hip-hop group’s Intergalactic music video with her kids.

In the YouTube video posted on Tuesday, the trio can be seen dancing in the snow in familiar Toronto places like the City Place pedestrian bridge, Yonge and Dundas Square, down in the PATH, and at Union Station.

The video, which has since garnered over 92,000 views, has quickly gone viral online, with countless YouTubers sharing their praise for the adorable vid.

“As a parent this is something I will strive to achieve with my kids. Well Done,” wrote one YouTube user.

“Every now and then I see something and I’m like, yup totally want kids. This is that thing today,” commented another user.

“Okay, look. I love my mother. I wouldn’t trade her for anything; but I am super jealous of your kids right now,” wrote another.
