April is finally bringing spring weather to Toronto, as temperatures are expected to rise this weekend while also remaining sunny.
The first day of the month started out cold, and the city felt the chills of -4°C on Monday, but a temperature swing is on its way.
Looking at the long term forecast, Environment Canada is calling for sunny skies and a high of 14°C for this Saturday.
- It's going to swing almost 20°C in Toronto between today and the weekend
- High Park cherry blossoms show healthy progress despite recent cold
The perfect temperature for a brunch and patio day.
Sadly, you’ll have to enjoy it while it lasts, as the sunny skies won’t survive too long.
Showers are being forecast to roll in for the end of the weekend and continue into the start of the work week.
The good news is, it will hover around 11°C on Monday, so at least there will be no snow.
Enjoy the one day of spring you get this week, Toronto.
