Another day, and another Toronto weather statement — the sixth day in a row the city has been under some kind of weather warning.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Toronto on Wednesday, as snow with brief freezing rain changing to rain near noon.
According to the statement, there will also been strong and gusty winds this afternoon into tonight.

“A Colorado low will track northeast across Lake Huron and Georgian Bay today, bringing a dramatic change in weather with it,” says Environment Canada.
“Snow will become mixed with or change over to freezing rain early this morning then to rain near noon as a warm front moves through.”
Environment Canada warns of poor winter travelling conditions this morning as untreated surfaces may be icy and slippery.
A brief thaw with rain and strong southwest winds gusting to 70 km/h are expected this afternoon into this evening and colder air will return tonight.
In their weather breakdown, they forecast that snowfall could amount to 2 cm. BUT it is also going to be 6°C.
