Toronto remains under an extreme cold warning, as temperatures will continue to dip by Sunday afternoon.
Don’t be fooled by the bright sunshine, it is very cold out there.
Environment Canada is forecasting a mainly sunny day, but the wind chill this morning feels like -27°C.
That wind chill will get even colder later this afternoon, and Toronto will feel more like -32°C. Environment Canada warns that there is a risk of frostbite in minutes.
The cold will continue through tonight, when it will feel like -38°C through to Monday morning.
The cold snap should end by Tuesday, when the high will reach -5°C. And Wednesday is practically spring as the daytime high will be 3°C.
So hang in there, Toronto, we’re almost over this cold… for now.
