Looking for a reason to stay inside? It’s going to feel like -17°C in Toronto tonight

It’s finally here, Toronto. Winter has arrived.

Environment Canada and The Weather Network are both forecasting that with the wind chill, it will feel like -17°C in Toronto overnight and it’s expected to stay that cold into the morning.

According to the 36-hour outlook, temperatures in Toronto will dip to -6°C this evening but will feel like a much colder -14°C.

That also gets chillier when temperatures drop overnight, and by Saturday morning it will be -9°C, feeling more like -16°C.

While the weekend will be cold, no snow is predicted in the forecast.

Snow is expected by Tuesday when temperatures will rise slightly to just below freezing level.

Overall though, there will be lots of cooler, more wintery nights ahead in Toronto with most feeling like -11°C.
