These Toronto waterfront condos are listed for under $750,000 (PHOTOS)

Buying a condo in Toronto, in general, can cost you a pretty penny, but buying one of the coveted waterfront condos? It can seem downright unattainable.

A recent report from Strata.ca analyzed north and south-facing properties in waterfront condo buildings and found that having a waterfront view typically increases the price of a condo by 8% in Toronto.

Even with that price increase Strata.ca Broker of Record Robert Van Rhijn, says a waterfront view can be worth it, depending on the buyer.

“If a view of the water is going to improve your overall quality of life, then why not?” Van Rhijn said. “I’ve worked with a lot of buyers who are determined to get that lake view because it keeps them emotionally anchored. It gives them a sense of calm, which is a nice contrast to the chaos that often comes with city life.”

Just because they tend to come with a higher price tag doesn’t mean that all Toronto waterfront condos will run you close to a million dollars. Here are five condos with beautiful water views currently listed for under $750,000, courtesy of Strata.ca.
