Good news for Double Double-drinking commuters.

Starting this spring, Tim Hortons will start a year-long pilot project to bring coffee and snacks to four GO stations.

Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca announced the new partnership between Kilmer Group and Metrolinx today and billed the project as an effort to make commuting more convenient.

The pilot program will run for one year upon the conclusion of which Metrolinx will reassess whether or not to continue and/or potentially roll out more Tim Hortons outlets at other GO stations.

For now, Oakville, Clarkson, Ajax, and Oshawa GO stations are slated to start serving Timmies this spring.
