Toronto's annual Tea Festival is returning to the city this February

Jan 23 2019, 10:56 pm

Feelin’ like it’s time to switch up your morning English Breakfast?

Excellent. Because the Toronto Tea Festival is returning to the city next month, which means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to stock up on new flavours of brews.

From February 1 to 3 at the Toronto Reference Library, tea sippers and chuggers alike will be able to enjoy hundreds of tea tastings, as well as opportunities to chat with industry experts at one of the many complimentary presentations.

The tastings will feature a variety of teas, each uniquely prepared by exhibitors, and through them you’ll learn the difference in tea flavours based on origin, processing technique, and preparation style.

And there will be plenty of time to shop for take-home items, too. You’ll be able to buy teas, teaware, and a bunch of tea-related products available. If your valentine is a tea-lover, this is your big chance to get the gift right.

And don’t forget to participate in the silent auction and enter the raffle, where you’ll have the chance to win some incredible tea-related prizes.

This event is a great opportunity to get your hydration on before you head over to get your cacao fill at the Winter Chocolate Show.

It’ll be a sweet and satisfying weekend, no doubt.
