11 subway stations on Line 1 will be closed this weekend

The weekend is finally within reach which can only mean one thing: more TTC subway station closures.

This Saturday, November 16, there will be no subway service on Line 1 between St Clair West and King stations for Automatic Train Control signal system installation.

As a result, 10 subway stations will be closed.

According to the TTC, shuttle buses will operate during the closure and wheel-trans service will also be available for customers requiring accessible service.

As King is not yet an accessible station, customers travelling southbound on Line 1 who require an accessible connection should exit the train at Queen Station and request wheel-trans service from any TTC employee.

The TTC is advising the public that this closure was originally scheduled to extend between Sheppard West and Wilson stations.
