Toronto's inaugural Soup Festival is happening this weekend
There’s more than one soup-centric event happening in Toronto this fall, and one is slated to take place this weekend.
That’s right, Toronto’s inaugural Soup Festival is taking place at Garrison Common on October 20 and 21.
Showcasing gourmet soup and artisan exhibitors, this new fall food fest in support of Second Harvest, promises a wide variety of signature soups, fresh baked goods, live entertainment, hot beverages, and, of course, plenty of soup-making demonstrations.
Attendees can look forward to sampling and voting on innovate soups or tried-and-tested recipes sold by local restaurants and artisans to crown the People’s Choice Award to the best vendor.

Being an outdoor event, its the perfect chance to soak in the fall season and get cozy with hot broths and bisques while warming up around the campfire and enjoying acoustic music, a kids fun zone, and farmers’ market.
Just don’t forget to BYOB (aka Bring Your Own BOWL and spoon), in an effort to reduce the festival’s green footprint.
