10 year-old girl and 18 year-old female confirmed as victims of Sunday's deadly shooting

Toronto Police have confirmed the victims of Sunday’s deadly shooting at the Danforth are a 10-year-old girl and an 18-year-old female.

Police say there are 13 others who are currently suffering from minor to serious injuries, and they range between 10 to 59 years old.

At this time, all families have been notified, but no names are being released.

The person responsible for the shooting has also died, and the SIU will be providing details on the shooter at a later time.

Toronto police say they don’t know why the shooting has happened yet, but will be updating the public as the investigation continues.

Meanwhile, police are asking witnesses to upload any videos or photos from the incident that occurred on Sunday, July 22 around 10 pm in the area of Danforth Ave. and Logan Ave. A special website had been set up dedicated to the investigation, and can be found here.
