A 16-year-old boy is recovering in hospital with serious injuries following a shooting that occurred in the city’s west end early Sunday morning.
Just after 1 am on June 2, police were called to the area of Tandridge Crescent, near Albion Road and Elmhurst Drive, in Etobicoke, after receiving reports of a shooting.
Police say a group of males were in a car when they were approached by another vehicle with several males who opened fire on them.
When officers arrived, a 16-year-old boy was located suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to a hospital through an emergency run, according to police.
Police say the other car fled the scene in a black four-door vehicle.
