Toronto police looking for two suspects wanted for alleged Yorkville assault

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men wanted in an investigation regarding assault causing bodily harm.

Police say officers responded to a call for an assault at approximately 11:30 pm on Friday, June 22, 2018, in the Bloor Street West and Bay Street area.

It is reported that a man was walking in the area when he became involved in an altercation with two men. The suspects allegedly punched the victim, and the altercation was then stopped by passersby.

The two suspects are described as:

Suspect #1: white, 25-30-years-old, 5’10”, weighing about 170-180 lbs. with short dark hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt at the time of the assault.

Suspect #2: white, 25-30-years-old, 6’2″, weighing about 170-180 lbs. with short dark hair, unshaven.

Investigators are looking to speak to the two citizens who stopped the assault, but left the scene before talking to police.
