Police looking for 'bleeding' suspect after break-in at East Toronto home

Toronto police are looking for a suspect following an alleged break-in at a Scarborough home on Tuesday afternoon.

Police tweeted about the break-in at Randall Cr and Horfield Ave just after noon, and reported that there was a confrontation between the resident and the alleged suspect.

“The homeowner or resident discovered someone breaking in. There was a confrontation. The homeowner was stabbed in the leg. The suspect also received an injury,” said police. “He is believed to be bleeding seriously and we are trying to find him.”

There is no update on the status of the resident. Police continue to search the area for the suspect.
