Toronto Police are investigating after a woman was allegedly forced into a car in the city’s High Park neighbourhood on Saturday night.

Officers were called to the area of Parkside Drive and High Park Boulevard around 12:15 am on March 21.

According to police, a car was parked in the area roughly 45 minutes earlier, facing south towards Spring Street.

Two men were sitting inside the car – one in the driver’s seat, and the other in the backseat – and a rear passenger door was open. Two other men and a woman were standing outside.

Police have alleged that two men grabbed the woman, and pushed her inside the car.

Officers are concerned for the woman’s safety, and would like to speak with her to “make sure she is safe and well,” they said.

The woman is described as white with blond hair. Police said the driver of the car was wearing a black face mask, and one of the men is described as black with a medium build.

Police did not provide descriptions of the other two men. The car involved in the incident is described as a blue or green newer model four-door sedan.

Investigators would like to speak with members of the public who were in the area on Saturday night and early Sunday.

As well, residents, businesses, and drivers are asked to check for security and dash cam footage that may have captured the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-1100. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers via 416-222-8477.
