Dec 13 2019, 1:00 pm

It’s almost time for Toronto’s massive new Apple flagship store to open to the public.

Located in the heart of downtown Toronto in the country’s busiest mall, the new Eaton Centre Apple Store opens this Saturday, December 14, and is double the size of the current flagship in the mall.

In addition to the sprawling space, the store will offer Apple customers new ways to experience and learn about products.

Some of the store’s main attractions are the “The Forum,” a 20-foot video wall that serves as the central display for free Today at Apple sessions and “Avenues” along the walls to make shopping and trying out the 150 products fun and easy.

But in addition to customers having more space to discover products, participate in Today at Apple sessions or seek advice from a Genius, here are five other reasons to check out the all-new Apple Store Eaton Centre this holiday season.

New location

The new store is located on the main level of the mall and is now nearly double the size of the original Eaton Centre store and features a new store design that hasn’t been seen before in Canada.

Hundreds of Apple team members

There will be a total of 325 Apple team members, who speak a total of 28 different languages, working in the new store to further enhance the customer experience. Apple team members will help customers experience the latest Apple products, offer technical advice and support, and teach customers how to take their creativity further in a Today at Apple session.

Shopping “Avenues”

The new shopping “Avenues” in the store are equipped with dedicated Creative Pros to help customers find perfect holiday gifts with accessories for photography, music, gaming, home, health, and more.

Easy shopping experience

Customers will not only be able to try out the 150 featured Apple products to find the perfect last-minute gifts, but they can also easily pick up their gifts at the Apple Store through Apple Pickup or stop in for a quick buy with self-checkout at the Apple Store with EasyPay.

20-foot-wide video wall

In the heart of the store is a 20-foot-wide video wall that invites customers to take a break from shopping and unlock their creativity with Today at Apple sessions, spanning photography, art and design, music, coding, and more.

The new Eaton Centre Apple Store will officially open its doors to the public this Saturday, December 14.
