Toronto is getting a mural fest block party this month

A three-day event celebrating the international urban art movent is popping up in town this summer.

Taking place at the Stackt Market from August 30 to September 1, MURAL Toronto will offer visitors the chance to watch artists create stunning murals, attend music shows, check out art exhibitions, enjoy panels, and more.

Additionally, visitors can look forward to an epic block party presented by Hennessy Canada, art installations by artist Laurence Vallières presented by Little Burgundy Shoes, a Hennessy mixology event, and much more.

On August 31, Torontonians can check out the festival’s ‘Moonshine Block Party’ presented by Hennessy. The block party will feature sounds from Venus X, Pierre Kwenders (DJ set), Bambii, Nino Brown, Bonbon Kojak, Odile Myrtil, AKAntu, and special guests.

In addition to music, visitors can look forward to visual art from Maser (Ireland), Laurence, Vallières (Montreal), Peru (Toronto), Ness Lee (Toronto), Le Bonar (Montreal), and many more.

The festival takes place at stackt market, Toronto’s newest creative cultural marketplace built of 120 repurposed shipping containers.

With vibrant art, engaging architecture, a world-class brewery, plentiful food options and an immersive programming calendar, stackt is open seven days a week with dozens of shops, experiences, and spaces to discover.
