Three McDonald’s locations in the Toronto area have reported employees testing positive for COVID-19 in the past few days.

According to the fast-food chain, an employee at the 300 Steeles Avenue West location in Thornhill was reported to have tested positive for COVID-19. They had last worked on February 24.

On March 4, an employee at the 25 Joe Shuster Way location in Toronto was reported to have tested positive for the virus. They had last worked on February 28.

The next day, on March 5, an employee at the 44 Bristol Road East location in Mississauga was reported testing positive for COVID-19. They had last worked on March 2.

Anyone who visited an affected McDonald’s is asked to take directions from Ontario Public Health.

McDonald’s Canada says their restaurants have implemented enhanced safety measures, including having hand sanitizer dispensers available, keeping high-touch surfaces and tables sanitized, and making masks mandatory for all staff.
